For me most days were like living in a fog, seeing what lay ahead was difficult and everything felt like I was pushing against it. It felt like a constant uphill battle. This was a feeling I have had for several years. 

Going plant-based really helped lift this feeling but there was still this haze that I couldn’t overcome. After speaking with Nic and going through the initial assessment and consultation Nic’s guidance allowed me to take control and see where and what was causing me to go wrong. 

A big part of this was late-night snacks mainly due to not getting enough good fats into my diet, I was feeling hungry, along with bad gut health thanks to years of antibiotics and inflammatory foods. I wasn’t getting enough protein so increasing my protein sources to include tempeh, nuts and seeds while using an app to track what my nutritional intake was and identifying what was lacking and being able to compensate accordingly.
